Companies/small groups with an aerospace, maritime and/or defence related turnover between R25 and R50 million per year
Annual Fee: R 43 480.63 (Excl. VAT)

Companies with an aerospace, maritime and/or defence related turnover between R10 and R25 million per year
Annual Fee: R 17 392.25 (Excl. VAT)

Companies with less than R10 million aerospace, maritime and/or defence related turnover per year
Annual Fee: R 8 696.13 (Excl. VAT)

Research/Educational organisations/institutes (non-profit)

Offices of overseas registered companies with extensive business activities in South Africa

AMD represents the interests of the members who may be a South African registered company, body, organisation, society, association, research and educational institute, person and official representative of foreign registered company who, in the opinion of the board of directors, has a substantial operation in South Africa and whose activities are related to the design, development, testing, evaluation, manufacturing, operating, upgrading, maintenance, repair and overhaul of manned and unmanned land, air (including outer space) & sea (i.e. maritime & naval) platforms (and their sub-systems – including items that are regarded as “dual use” (e.g. ICT & C4ISR subsystems) which may or may not be controlled in terms of conventional arms regulations or similar regimes) as well as the provision of related services (like training, logistical engineering & consulting) regardless of whether these are meant for defence (including humanitarian and peace keeping operations) or civil security (including homeland and border security) purposes both locally and abroad.
